HE HAS RISEN!

Scripture: John 20:1-2 (NKJV)

Now the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”

Reflection

Easter Sunday celebrates the triumph of Jesus over death. The empty tomb, discovered by Mary Magdalene, marks the moment hope dawned. Her confusion reflects our own when faced with the unexpected, yet the resurrection reveals God’s power to transform despair into joy. Today, embrace the truth that Christ is risen, offering eternal life to all who believe.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection, the foundation of our hope. Thank You for the empty tomb and the promise of new life. Fill us with joy and courage to share this good news. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
