Fruit of the Spirit

August 4 – Longsuffering (Patience)

Scripture:
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise… but is longsuffering toward us…” — 2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)

Reflection:
God’s patience toward us is immeasurable. He waits for us, gives us time to grow, and never gives up on us. As His Spirit lives in us, we too can develop patience—with others, with ourselves, and with God’s timing. Patience is love stretched out over time.

Prayer:
Gracious Father, thank You for Your patience with me. Teach me to be patient with others and to trust Your timing in all things. Help me to wait with grace and endurance. Amen.
