Sept 8 – Harvest: Peaceful Fruit
September 8 – Peaceful Fruit
Scripture:
“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness.” – Hebrews 12:11
Reflection:
God’s correction may feel heavy in the moment, but it is an act of love. Just as pruning brings health to a plant, discipline brings fruit to our lives.
Though painful for a time, the end result is peace. His correction restores what sin has broken and aligns us with His will.
When we embrace His discipline, we grow in maturity and holiness. The peaceable fruit that follows is evidence of His faithfulness.
Prayer:
Father, help me receive Your correction with humility and trust. Amen.
