April 9: The Cross and Reconciliation

Scripture: “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.” —2 Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV)Reflection: The cross restored what sin broke—our relationship with God. But it doesn’t stop there. We’re not only reconciled; we’re also called to be reconcilers. The love and forgiveness we’ve received through the cross is now something we are to extend to others.Prayer: Father, thank You for reconciling me to Yourself through Christ. Make me an agent of reconciliation—someone who carries Your love and healing into a hurting world. Let the message of the cross flow through me. Amen.
