January 1 – Knowing God Is the Highest Pursuit

Key Verse – Jeremiah 9:24 (NKJV)   “But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.  

Explanation:   God defines true greatness as knowing Him. Knowledge that honors God is relational, rooted in understanding His character and ways.  

Reflection:   What do I boast in most—my achievements or my knowledge of God?  

Prayer:   Lord, let my greatest pursuit this year be to know You in truth and intimacy. Amen.
